SUCCESS AND INSPIRATIONS
Through the school years I have realized that in order to be successful you should always persist until you achieve your objective. Something that I have always wanted to achieve is to win a Model United Nations award. I’ve been in these type of events since 7th grade and I’ve participated in about 8 MUN events. I have always being focused on winning an award, but I still haven’t won.
A big achievement that the MUN events have given me is the opportunity to organize UNVA 2016 as the Vice-Chief of Special Committees. Last year, I was given that position and the Secretariat has worked a lot. I consider that being part of the Secretariat is one of my biggest achievements.
Another big achievement that I’ve had has been going to the Tanzania Expedition. The Tanzania Expedition is an expedition to Tanzania that is organized by Nord Anglia. This expedition helps many communities in Arusha, Tanzania. The expedition happened in March-April 2016, last school year. This has been the best experience that I’ve ever had.
Finally, two other achievements that I’ve had these year were that I was accepted for INTERIMS and for New York MUN. On INTERIMS I chose to go Japan, and I am really excited for that. The New York MUN, is a simulation in New York that is a unique experience. I couldn’t have had all of these achievements if it wasn’t for my inspiration. What motivates me to achieve various things is that I always want to improve as a person.
