NON-ACADEMIC FACTOR it applies to: Conduct.

a. During 9th grade I plan to continue with the MUN events.
b. I will give my best effort to try to win a MUN event.
c. Keep on practicing.
4. What have you learned about yourself from this Habits of Mind/ Non-academic factors self-assessment?
I think that I have changed very little since the beginning of 8th grade, and I hope to change more. I consider I’m still a very closed person and I should be more open. Also, I think that the way I can improve is by continuing with the MUN events, since I like to be in them and it benefits me.
Term I:

Analysis:
As of this moment, in the beginning of the year I consider I’m a very closed person who needs to talk more and participate more in class. I’m going to do that by participating as staff in the CPI committee of UNVA 2015. I’m going to be a prosecutor and hopefully, my committee will be the one to receive the prize for “Best Committee.” I’ll sign up for more MUN events this year and I’ll improve.

Analysis:
After UNVA 2015, I have improved in my closed areas, I feel that I speak freely and I barely have any trouble. I entered ISRMUN and I’m planning to join more simulations, since I have already signed up for them. Also, I’m going to run for the Chief of Special Committees position in the UNVA 2016 Secretariat. Asides, I signed a school trip that is about doing community service in Tanzania, where many people are going.
Term II:

Term III:

Analysis:
During Term 3, I didn’t changed that much, even though I was in two MUN simulations (CIMUN and IMMUNS). But also, I won the place of “Vice-Chief of Special Committees” in the UNVA 2016 Secretariat. Next Term, I’m going to participate in PASMUN, and it will be my last MUN of the year. Asides, next Term I’m going to the Tanzania Expedition of Nord Anglia, where about 5 schools around the world will go.

Term IV:
Analysis:
On Term 4, I went to the Tanzania Expedition, provided by Nord Anglia. I went with two other students from the other campus’ school, but in the camp there were about 80 students in total. We helped the Kitefu Primary School and many local people. With the school we built a house for the teachers. Also, I met many people from across the world, Korea, Singapore, Greece, Brazil, Venezuela, Vietnam, etc. I would want to go back there. Although, I consider that there were no HOM changes with me happening by that moment.

Term V:

Analysis:
During Term 5, I didn’t joined any MUN simulations, I only went to the school’s musical (as chorus) “Under the Sea.” I consider that my growth through the year (in HOM perspective) was very little. Although, 8th grade has been the year were I have had more participations in MUN events. Asides, I went to the Tanzania Expedition and I’m part of the Secretariat UNVA 2016. I plan to keep going to MUN simulations to grow even more.
